Easter Weekend is almost around the corner and the weather is supposed to be perfect. Sunshine nonstop 😀 *hehe* Baby J & I decided to join hubby for lunch in the inner-city.

Eating in the inner-city districts of Hamburg with a baby can be quite a challenge since you will need to find a restaurant that is not too overcrowded and loud.

We ended up having lunch at Hamburger Fischerstube, which is located in the Colonnaden.

I opted for their grill plate “Fischerstube” that came with cod fillet, redfish and salmon fillet served with basmati rice in dill sauce and barbecue tomato (€15,90). Hubby went for their lunch menu, which was fried redfish fillet with champignon and potato casserole. Not to forget Baby J’s food *haha* (more on solid foods can be found here 😀 ) After lunch we went for a short digestion walk at Planten un Blomen, where I spotted for the first time the tiny waterfall inside the park. Hamburg is surely very nice during the spring/ summer time – lots of beautiful parks to enjoy.

Overall Experience: 7/10 (This is a nice restaurant to have German food – with the main focus on fish/ seafood dishes. However, do not set your expectations too high as food-wise the taste was okay. Surely, I have not tried out their whole menu but from the ones that we ordered I was not too impressed. Especially in Hamburg, where fish dishes are something “special” … Service was friendly. Lots of space to sit outside and enjoy the sunshine, and do people watching 😊)
