For me travelling always involves good food, sightseeing and great companion. Since we are going to stay a few days in Copenhagen, I was not very interested in hotel breakfast. A look on my phone showed that the nearest breakfast place close to our hotel is called Souls, which is still a good 15minish walking distance away. Located in the nice neighbourhood Østerbro. This place serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus. I am not quite sure how lunch or dinner is handled but breakfast was more like “self-service”. You place your food order, pay and the waitress will give you a number for your table. Then, they will come with your food once its ready.

I was greedy and went for their Brunch Menu that came with 2 pancakes with syrup, bread, half an Avo Smash, overnight oats with cinnamon and chocolate sauce, fresh fruit, pea puree, hummus and veggie sticks.  The layout of the breakfast looks amazing and I really like the idea that it consisted of many different elements. My favourite was for sure the Avocado Smash! 😉

C on the other hand is not much of a breakfast person, therefore, he only went for the Overnight Oats. It was served in a mid-sized bowl and was topped with muesli, chia seeds, and some fresh fruits. As for dessert we went for 3 types of cakes slices: Super Berry (Acai, mixed berry cheese cake, berry sorbet), Chocolate Bite (with chickpea chocolate fudge) and Tumeric Yuzu Slice (Yuzu slice, fresh fruit and berries, vanilla ice cream). We surely didn’t leave the place hungry 😀 and decided even to walk all the way to the city centre. Passing through two of the three artificial lakes, which are divided into five basins that Copenhagen offers: Sortedams Sø and Peblinge Sø.
