A little bit of a different breakfast this time. We woke up bit too late for breakfast and too “early” for lunch. Hence, we opted for a quick breakfast. I wasn’t in the mood for trying out brunch places since I wanted to have a proper lunch later.
We ended up at THE Barn Café, which is located at Café Kranzler (one of the most recognized Coffeehouse in Berlin). Once a nice and cosy café place, which closed its door by the end of 2015, has now become part of a coffeeshop chain place.
The breakfast choice was very limited (if I can say that). We went for Croissants with Ham & Cheese (the staff didn’t even heat it up), two Natas and one Muesli Yogurt with some fruits on top. Taste was okay but very overpriced for that quality. Our beverage order (one coffee and one hot chocolate) took ages for them to make, despite that it was not that busy.
Overall experience: 3/10 (Very slim choices on breakfast food. I ordered hot chocolate, which even arrived after the food – that’s why no picture of it. As you can guess, service is slow. Overpriced food for so-so quality. Only plus, I can think of, is the view from the place, and that we did not have to wait for the food since everything was already pre-made)
