It’s my third visit to have brunch at Benedict. As always there is a long queue. You can read about my first visit at Benedict here and the second one here.
We arrived at around 10am on a Sunday and had to wait for about 40 minutes to get a table. Surprise, at the bar again. As otherwise, we would have to wait even longer. C ended up with the same as last time, Sloppy Joe (Ground beef in tomato and onion sauce). I on other hand, opted for their new creation Hawaiian Omelette. I surely went for “western breakfast style” this time after the last disappointed one with their Vietnamese Omelette (way too much soy sauce). Anyway, the Hawaiian Omelette comes with ham, potato, melted gouda and chili with a special homemade salsa made of fresh pineapple, chill and lime. Sounds very yummy and the picture says the same. Taste-wise: It was okay, not a really “wow” factor that would keep me to re-order next time. All their food is served with a bread basket, green salad and either a Mimosa or hot beverage of your choice.
Overall Experience: 7/10 Staffs were as always friendly. However, during my first visit I was overwhelmed by the food options one can choose. Now, I felt it was bit “difficult” to choose. Not by the amount, but by what do I really fancy to eat from the menu (quantity vs. “appetite”). C even ordered the same food as last time.
Good to Know: As said in the post, this is my third visit at Benedict already. Don’t arrive at this place with totally empty stomach. Get something light to eat beforehand. On peak time it can up to 1hour or even more till your food is served (so keep this in mind).
