Even though Christmas was few weeks ago, but still I’m feeling very lucky to experience the Christmas Garden Berlin after all. When I found the time to do it last year around Christmas the weather was on “strike”. Therefore, I thought maybe for this year’s Christmas then. But C knew that this is on my list and literally surprised me with it. I didn’t know that the garden was opened till this Sunday. So why not “merry” it twice this year? 😉
The Christmas Garden Berlin is located in the Botanic Garden, which had its first lighting show in 2016, inspired after the original “Christmas at Kew” in London. 
Under the theme “As twilight falls, the magic begins”, you can enjoy a 2km long trail, which is illuminated with 30 unique lights display.
So, let the magic begins and join me on this spectacular evening tour 😊 
There was even the possibility to do ice-skating, which is good to know for next time 😎 
Even the forest was turned into an enchanted forest 
We easily spent almost 2hish, and I wouldn’t mind to repeat the walk again, if dinner at the Seaside wasn’t calling.
It was truthy an unforgettable sparkling evening and I’m already looking forward to this year’s Christmas Garden show, which is in about 11months time 😉

Good to Know: It’s a fantastic experience for the whole family. To skip the queue, you can purchase the tickets online in advance. Ticket prices are €14.50 (Mon – Thu) / €16.50 (Fri – Sun) for children and €17 (Mon – Thu) / €19 (Fri – Sun) for adults. Moreover, since it’s an outdoor activity by night and you will be walking on (wet) soil, it’s not only recommendable to wrap yourself warm but also to wear the right shoes.
