It’s Breakfast Time Again @ Benedict ⋆ ByLisaD

I didn’t think that I would have breakfast at Benedict that soon again after my recent visit since I always like to try out new brunch places around the city whenever it’s possible.

Since we stayed at H’Otello / K’80 Berlin, which is in the same district area and only a few walking minutes away from Benedict we opted for this place to get our day started 😀 Same as last time this brunch place was overcrowded. Luckily, I didn’t have to queue up this time since I had a hairdressing appointment before and let C do the job 🙂

I would say efficient timing – when I arrived at Benedict, C just got seated. We started off with fresh orange juices. As you might have read from my first visit at Benedict, this place is serving breakfast only and that 24/7. Their menu has a wide range of breakfast options to choose from – I am sure there is something for anyone.

I was tempted to order Pancakes this time but then again, I can have this at any other breakfast places as well.

Something off-the-menu that you won’t find it easily elsewhere and my choice ended up with Vietnamese Omelette (Shrimp, soy and sesame oil omelette, with sprouts, green onion and fresh coriander) served with peanuts, homemade sweet chilli sauce and tuna salad. Together with a bread basket, green salad and Mimosa.As much as they look good for the picture I don’t think I am going to order this one again. I know soy sauce and Asian cuisine goes hand-in-hand, but sometimes too much is just too much. It tasted over-salted 😕

C on the other hand did a better choice with Sloppy Joe (Ground beef in tomato and onion sauce) Overall Experience: 7.5/10 (I know I gave it 8.5 last time but then again my breakfast was much better back then. So on average it’s still an 8 😉 I would just stick to their Egg Benedict menu range next time or anything “western” breakfast style like)
