Time for me to play tourist or “tour guide” in Berlin again. A good friend of mine is visiting me over an extended long weekend. Before we started with the touristy part, we were much in need in (re-) charging our energy level over some yummy brunch at Benedict, which is specialist in Breakfast only – and that ALL DAY! 24/7 #yeah
I read in the reviews online before that you need to be prepared for some waiting time. But I surely didn’t expect that long since it’s in the district area Wilmersdorf – offside the “hipster areas” and even bit off from the city centre of “West” Berlin.
At the moment it is not possible to make a reservation in advance at Benedict. You really need to show up in person and let the waiter to add you on the “guest list”. You can overcome the waiting time to have some pre-snacks and hot drinks at their café bar. 
It took us more than half-an-hour to be seated. But it was worth the long waiting time, once you see the menu card. Benedict surely offers one of the most diverse breakfast that you can find in Berlin: from Bagels to Pancakes over to Egg Benedicts and the classical standard breakfast e.g. English Breakfast etc. Basically, there is something for everyone – whether you are a sweet or savoury breakfast person.
Since that place was overcrowded you can imagine that it also took some time to get our food served. Luckily we were seated at the bar; hence, we didn’t really have to wait for the waiter to come and take our orders or to bring us our fresh orange juices, before our food finally arrived 😀

It was definitely not my last visit at this place! My eyes are already on their pancakes for next time. Till then, stay tuned for our Berlin adventure weekend… 😛
Overall Experience: 8.5/10 (only minus is the waiting time… and for the food to arrive… be prepared to wait 1hourish till breakfast is served to you, especially on a busy weekend…)
