One thing that Berlin has changed extremely over the years is the food scene. A lot of modern, cool and stylish restaurants have opened – among others House of Small Wonder that brings us a bit of New York/ Brooklyn flair to the capital. It’s not my first visit and surely not my last. What catches the eyes of the visitors immediately once you enter this place is their interior design – a lot of wood, a lot of plants, and a spiral staircase that leads to one of the most wonderful decorated brunch/ café place, which offers European food with a Japanese twist. Like many other brunch places in this city, this place doesn’t take reservation upfront as well. You really need to show up and wait in the queue. However, we got quite lucky this time since a table just became available.

We started off with some fresh Matchas 😀

Left: Ice Matcha Latte (without whipped cream) Right: Matcha Latte Before our brekkie arrived: “Two Eggs with Potato Gratin”

My friend chose it with organic scrambled egg And I opted for their organic sunny side up Don’t they look *yummy* I can have these for breakfast all day 🙂

Overall Experience: 8/10
