There is no better way to finish a busy work day off with some delicious sushi. We didn’t plan to have sushi at Bambusstäbchen but the one we wanted to go was closed due to summer break. Our luck, otherwise, I would have missed this cosy sushi place in Southern Berlin district, Tempelhof (close to the metro station U6 Alt-Tempelhof).

This place is run by Vietnamese people, hence, you will also find typical Vietnamese food there if you are not in the mood for sushi.

The set menus that they offer are very reasonable (around €10) and the portions are in good size. The restaurant is small but has a nice decoration. Even with aquarium 🙂

Miso soup, which comes with each sushi set menu

Menu 1 (Avocado Maki, Oshinki Maki, Kampyo Maki)

Menu 4 (Shake Avocado Maki, Sake California Inside Out, Nigiri – Ebi, Sake, Maguro)

Menu 5 (Sake California Inside Out, Nigiri – Ebi, Sake, Tako)Staffs were friendly and service was relatively quick.

Overall Experience: 7.5/10
