I always say „YES“ when friends suggesting Italian food. Tonight we went to a little Italian restaurant called Tramonto, which is located in the district area Tempelhof (Berlin). The restaurant is located behind the Tempelhofer Hafen Shopping Centre, off the main road.
They have a great selection of pizza and pasta. Prices are very reasonable. Each main course is around €8. How cheap is that? Consider that the quality is pretty good and portions quite big! 🙂
We were served by the owner even on that evening, who was very friendly, helpful and with a good sense of humour. How often do you experience that a waiter not only simply take your order and leave but also tried to get involved in a small talk? I think if I live around this area, this restaurant might even become my favourite local one. 🙂
Insalata Mista (small portion)Gnocchi Siglia – with Mozzarella, Aubergine and Zucchini slicesI have to mention here that the Gnocchi tasted way better than the ones I had tried at Assaggi, where I paid more than the double price for over salted food…
All in all it was a cosy evening with lovely companions.
