I haven’t been back to the Netherlands since New Year and it felt so good to be back. The flight was pretty well booked. I have to say that KLM staffs are one of the nicest and I have been using this airline for I don’t know how many times.
Since C couldn’t pick me up this time due to work, I took the train by myself. From Schiphol Airport to Amsterdam Central Station is about a 15 to 20minish train ride, and the train runs multiply times per hour. A one-way single ticket can be purchased at the self-service ticket machine from €5,20.
Every time I see the Central Station building I feel so happy, maybe because this is when it finally hits me that I am back in Amsterdam again.
I can feel that spring is here. The city looks so pretty – with its many canals and bridges.
C wanted to dine outside, but I felt more like cooking at home. Simply because we are going on a road trip tomorrow to Belgium, and I don’t want to eat outside all the time. I prefer to cook from scratch; even though I am a terrible cooker but at least I know what ingredients are in my food 🙂
